System Design and Operating Logic
Cartoning utilizes flat cardboard wrap-around, preformed carton side-load insertion, or vertical drop loading. All three routes share product collation and carton output logic but differ in carton structural requirements, product stability, infeed orientation, and motion timing. Wrap-around lines fold flat blanks around product groups and seal them with hot-melt glue, offering high material utilization and continuous operation. Side-load and drop-on lines utilize preformed cartons, suitable for packaging requiring robust box protection.
